What we do
We fund vital New Zealand research that will improve the lives of New Zealanders living with diabetes.
Finding solutions, working to prevent or delay the onset of diabetes and supporting those with the condition is an enormous challenge that can only be achieved with a good strategy and collaborative approach.
The Diabetes New Zealand Research Foundation’s aim is to collaborate and work in partnership with like-minded organisations – Diabetes New Zealand, Edgar National Centre for Diabetes & Obesity Research, The Centre for Endocrine, Diabetes and Obesity Research, New Zealand Society for the Study of Diabetes, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Healthier Lives – He Oranga Hauora National Science Challenge amongst others.
Our goal is fund vital research that enables people with all types of diabetes to live well and support the careers of New Zealand researchers.
